Virtual Bingo Get-together!

This year’s Independence Day celebration turned into a fun and meaningful virtual get-together for UPIS ’97 alumni.

Dubbed as “Bingo Night,” the event was mounted by the Fund Raising Committee (FRC) to establish a seed fund for the batch’s homecoming projects.

Everyone had a blast reminiscing about their UPIS days with the specially-made virtual bingo cards, which had the names of personalities and places, funny expressions, and everything else that is uniquely UPIS ’97.

The FRC successfully raised Php50,000 from the sales of bingo cards. 

The winners were truly elated with their haul from prizes sponsored by their batchmates. Among these were a framed painting, food, cash cards, essential oils, disinfectants, flasks, clothing, and footwear, with the preliminary winners having the pleasure of choosing their prize. 

Chris Landrito won the top prize, Nike By You custom shoes, for being the first to black out his card, while couple Paeng and Therese Nepomuceno bagged ALAB UPIS face masks for winning Best in Costume.

There’s already a clamor for a second game night. We’re looking forward to FRC’s lineup of upcoming virtual get-togethers!
